As a full-service consulting firm, adtec IT can help source critical skills professionals through a the number of flexible arrangements, including Contract Consulting, Contract-to-Hire and Permanent Placement.
Contract Consulting
adtec provides most of its consulting services on an open-ended Contract Consulting Agreement. Here, the client receives the services of an adtec employee or an adtec sub-contracted consultant for
- a specific project
- an estimated time period and
- a fixed hourly rate (subject to periodic review).
Upon completion of the project, the consultant remains an adtec employee. Obviously, the client has the proprietary right to all work that is done.
A Contract Consulting Agreement is generally used when the client has:
- A short-term or specialized project,
- Been unable to locate a critical skills IT professional for permanent placement, or
- Concluded that contracting for a longer-term position is more cost-effective than hiring, considering the total costs.
Contract-to-Hire
Here, the adtec consultant is brought in on a contract that allows the client to hire the consultant at termination. These contracts are generally set up for 6 months. After this period, there is no hiring fee. If the individual is hired during this 6 month contract period, we determine a prorata hiring fee, up to 25%, based on the length of time the contract has remained in service.
A Contract-to-Hire arrangement is generally used when a client has a potential permanent opportunity, but
- Wants to evaluate the consultant on-the-job
- Is uncertain whether a specific project will receive long-term approval
- Is uncertain whether the permanent position will be approved or
- The consultant wants to assess the position and company before making a career commitment
Permanent Placement
Through adtec Direct, we do search for and provide candidates for direct permanent placement. The Hiring fee is generally 25% of the candidates annual salary.
